East Bay Rods organised the Pre 49"s Competition at Orewa Beach Friday 19th Feb to Sunday 21 Feb 2012.
The thing I noticed from the evening on Orewa Boulevard was the throngs of elderly retirees milling about , all with big smiles on their dials, obviously reminiscing. There was also a shitload of people dragging along small carpet crawler breeds of dogs. Not sure why

MY brother Jeremy, who works for Warners Music NZ, scored me a signed and framed copy of the sheet music for Khe Sanh, by legendary songwriter Don Walker of Cold Chisel; an Australian band of the late 70's and early 80"s musch loved in the Antipodeans. Thank u very very much bro for the cool XmaS pressie especially since I gave u a free pair of undies and a cheap smellie from my business. Oh yeh and a cheesy retro radio.
